HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE

2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes (defrosted)
¼ c. frozen chopped onions 
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick melted butter
1 c. sour cream
1 ½ c. bread crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 T.butter

Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs and 4 T. butter.  Spread in 9 X 13 inch baking dish.  Top with crumbs which have been mixed with butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.  Serves 12.
